A cup of the good stuff

One thing I struggle with as an English lass is the amount of cups of tea I consume each day, especially as one of my jobs is a freelance illustrator so some days I've drunk a ridiculous amount of tea whilst trying to complete a project. I've recently been on the hunt for yummy and more importantly healthy hot drink alternatives to help me cut down on the black tea. Here are a few of my favorites so far:

1. Megunprocessed's Rooibos Cacao Latte

I tried this out for the first time last night and it's absolutely delicious. I also tried this morning in place of my first tea of the day and I could definitely feel the benefits from the starting the day with such a healthy drink. Normally by the time I've finished my first cup of tea I'm already craving the next but this drink left my tummy happy and content and felt energised for the day. Click here for the recipe.

2. Coconut Coffee by The Lucky Writer

I tried this delicious drink out this afternoon. I was looking for a yummy post yoga drink and again didn't want to turn to my normal English brew. A quick search on Pinterest and I found this great coconut oil coffee recipe.

I've never tried coconut oil in any of my hot drinks and I have to say it was absolutely delicious and of course coconut oil is jam packed with goodness.

3. Matcha Green Tea Latte by the Greenbacksgal

Now here's a drink I'm sure you've heard of and probably tried but it's still worth a mention as it's so damn tasty and again packed full of goodness. This is also makes a great alternative first drink of the day and works wonders for the 4pm slump.

I will say be careful with Matcha powder as it's potent and strong stuff and if brewed too strong can give you those strong coffee palpitations. This drink is a great source of energy and antioxidants.

Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you enjoy these drink recipes as much as I have XO
